Granny Square Patchwork is the realisation of my dream to create a granny squares book with patterns of many sizes to mix and match into patchwork style creations.
There are 40 granny square patterns of 6 sizes, as well as 6 patterns that can be used to extend any of the patterns or as borders for blankets.
All patterns are charted as well as in written form. Yardage for all patterns is given in 3 yarn weights. Plus, there are 2 alternate colour-ways shown for each of the 40 patterns.
I’ve created and included 12 projects using the the patterns, but also guidance for you to create your own Granny Square Patchwork creations.
You need to know how to read a pattern or chart to use Granny Square Patchwork. There are no video links in this one. That’d take another year! If you can’t do that, then working through my Granny Square Academy first will give you all the skills you need to use Granny Square Patchwork.
At the start of the book, I explain how to read my patterns and talk a bit about my seamless ways.
Also included, is a glossary of all stitches an techniques used in the book. It shows not only the abbreviations, but the full description how to make the stitch or do the technique, as well as the symbols for each as seen in the charts.
I’ve created a page in the book with helpful links to all the things you need to know. While there are no videos for individual squares, there are links how to make most stitches and techniques used in the patterns.
