This beanie is a simple construction but has a twist to give it an awesome but very different look from your standard rib. As the name suggests the rib twists around the body of the beanie. The finished product is still very stretchy though.
In working on this design I did do some early prototypes without the roll up brim, have to say the extra knitting is worth it.
With the longer brim you can also wear the Twista as a slouchy style.
The Pattern: The pattern has information, general instruction. This is a written pattern. There are 3 sizes included.
Stitches: Knit, Purl, Cast on, simple decreases
Materials: I created the beanie in DK yarn. If using to colours you will need approximately 20g for the brim and 30g for the body. One colour 50g!!
Needles I used 3.75mm for the brim and 4mm for the rest of the body. When decreasing you will need needles in 4mm for your preferred method when the beanie gets smaller.
